Distilled at Caol Ila in 2015, this single malt spent the next nine years maturing in a selection of first-fill oloroso sherry butts and bourbon hogsheads. This whisky was independently bottled by Signatory to join its 100 Proof Editions, at a hearty 57.1% ABV.

Tasting Notes:

• Nose: The nose is a captivating blend of ripe berries, dark pome fruit, and a subtle nuttiness. The Islay character is evident, with a layer of salty peat smoke adding depth and complexity.
• Palate: The palate is full-bodied and well-balanced, with the sweetness of the sherry casks complementing the smoky notes. Flavours of jam and olives mingle with the peat, creating a complex and satisfying interplay.
• Finish: The finish is long and lingering, with a persistent maltiness and a touch of moist earth. The peat smoke remains present, providing a warming and satisfying conclusion.
