Yamazaki was founded in 1924 and was built at a famous site where three rivers converge. The warehouses sit sheltered by a bamboo forest and the distillery can sometimes not been seen due to mist.

Tasting Notes:

• Nose: Truffles, marmalade and dried raisin. Heavy Oloroso sherry.
• Palate: Leathery, cigar box, honey, toffee, apples, plum wine and black pepper with elegant smoke on the palate.
• Finish: Cinnamon, ginger and nutmeg. Long and round finish.
